Rather than a traditional viewbook, we created a literary and arts journal featuring original work from Kenyon students, faculty, staff and alumni, all tied to a central theme. Interstitial pages introduce key messages about academics and student life, creating space for both storytelling and clarity. The book serves not only as an admissions piece, but also as a brand-building artifact that reflects the intellectual and creative community at Kenyon.
We developed a series of fold-out search posters used early in the admissions cycle. One side features illustration, and the other, expressive, concrete-poetry-inspired typography. Each poster connects to a brand theme and offers a glimpse into Kenyon’s character and values, guiding readers to dive deeper online.
To support the campus experience, we created a small blank journal that visitors can use to take notes, sketch or reflect during their time in Gambier. Lightly interspersed quotes and illustrations bring the voice and atmosphere of Kenyon into the margins, without dictating the experiences. It’s simple, personal and designed for reflection.
